Rot Gut Moonshine Pouches

Objective: Design a logo and packaging system for a fictional company.

Rot Gut Moonshine Pouches are southern-made alcoholic beverages made to pack a proper punch. Inspired by the Appalachian Mountains, these boxes celebrate the time-honored (sometimes taboo) tradition of home-brewing white lightning.

To achieve a gritty aesthetic that would match the substance's nickname, typography set in Silverfake was traced with waxy colored pencils. All of the fruits were carved from chip boards, stamped, and placed on the splattered background to push the grungy design even further. The hand-done, material-based elements on this packaging mimic the authentic process
of making moonshine.
