Fort Payne City Branding
Objective: Design a branding system for the city of Fort Payne, Alabama.
Fort Payne, Alabama is a small town located in the Northeast corner of the state whose position along the railroad led to its initial "boom" in the late 1800s. Since that time, the town has held the title of Sock Capital of the World, has been home to the most awarded country singing group in history, and has profited from its tourism because of attractions like Little River Canyon National Reserve, Desoto State Park, and the Depot Museum.
The overarching concept behind the branding of Fort Payne is the idea of reverting to the glory of its past with a modern, streamline aesthetic in order to appeal to tourists, as well as residents.
